Terms of Service
Last updated: 24 February 2026
. 1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using My Band at myband.uk (the “Service”), including any sub-sites, mobile applications, and related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and My Band (“we”, “us”, “our”). We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
. 2. The Service
My Band is a band management platform that helps musicians organise events, availability, setlists, lineups, and communications. The Service is provided as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) product hosted on our infrastructure.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
The Service is designed for use by musical ensembles of all types, including but not limited to big bands, orchestras, function bands, wind bands, and other groups.
. 3. Accounts
To use the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must be at least 18 years old to create a band account. Band members invited by an administrator must be at least 16 years old, or have parental/guardian consent.
You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.
A single user account may be associated with multiple bands across the platform. Each band operates as a separate workspace with its own roles, permissions, and data.
. 4. Subscriptions and Billing
My Band offers a free trial period and paid subscription plans. Details of current plans, features, and pricing are available on our pricing page.
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method at the applicable rate.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law.
We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days’ notice. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing period.
. 5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
- Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Send unsolicited commercial messages (spam) through the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service
- Use the Service for any purpose other than band or ensemble management
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.
. 6. Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you upload or create on the Service (“Your Content”), including band information, event details, setlists, song data, and communications.
By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We will not use Your Content for any other purpose.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content to the Service. We are not liable for any intellectual property disputes relating to Your Content.
You may export or request a copy of Your Content at any time, in accordance with our data portability obligations under applicable law.
. 7. Band Administration
The person who creates a band on the Service is designated as the Band Admin. Band Admins are responsible for managing their band’s membership, roles, and settings.
Band Admins may invite or remove members, assign roles, and manage the band’s subscription. Band Admins are responsible for ensuring all members of their band comply with these Terms.
If a Band Admin’s account is deleted or becomes inactive, we may, at our discretion, transfer administrative control to another member of the band or archive the band’s data in accordance with our retention policies.
. 8. Termination
You may close your account and stop using the Service at any time by contacting us at hello@myband.uk.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, if your subscription payment fails, or if your account has been inactive for an extended period.
Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days (the “cooling-off period”) during which you may request reinstatement. After 30 days, your data will be permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
. 9. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
. 10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you should stop using the Service and close your account.
. 11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
